What type of events can I have at the Summit Events Centre?

Business breakfasts, corporate luncheons, wedding receptions, gala & conference dinners, cocktail receptions, staff training & inductions, product launches and private parties can all be held 7 days a week at our venue.

Do you have any parking?

Yes, we have free onsite & undercover parking for all our guests.

Is coach or bus access available?
Yes, coaches and buses may drop off and pick up on Dowse street right outside the Iceworks Building.

Do you have a lift for wheel chair access?
Yes. not only do we have lift access straight from the carpark but we have disabled bathroom facilities also.

Where is the nearest accomodation to the Summit Events Centre?

Cosmo Apartments on Park Road Milton OR for a 5 star experience, we recommend the Emporium Hotel in Fortitude Valley. Your event manager will have “on the ground” local knowledge to make some additional suggestions which suit you and your budget. 

Do you accept credit card?

Use of a credit card shall incur a 1.25% surcharge for Visa and Mastercard and 2.25% surcharge for Corporate Cards, AMEX and international cards, EFTPOS has no surcharge.

Can I provide my own decorations for my function?

Yes you are welcome to bring your own decorations.  Please discuss this with your Event Manager.

Can I bring in my own food and beverage?

We address this on an individual basis.

Can I supply my own celebration cake?

Yes you can

What if I have to cancel an event?

The following cancellation fees would be applicable/forfeited if you cancelled your event with us:
Between 89 – 30 Days from your event: Deposit + 20% of catering & beverage costs as per event contract.
Between 29 – 15 Days from your event: Deposit + 35% of catering & beverage costs as per event contract.
Between 14 – 7 Days from your event: Deposit + 50% of catering & beverage costs as per event contract.
Within 6 days: 100% of catering & beverage costs as per event contract.
